Every morning she wakes me with a cold wet nose to my neck, cheek, and face.
She knows when I am at my lowest, with just one look and a playful meow, she brings a smile to face.
She gives me purpose, for just as much as I need her, she needs me.
The two of us talk all the time, always have something to talk about.
She makes me laugh when she sees the birds flying about the wind, and she charges to try reach out and grab them.
Every night she tucks me into bed, and then curls up next to me til I’ve drifted off to sleep.
Sometimes when I wake up she’ll hear me and come rushing over to make sure I’m well.
And sometimes in her sleep she’ll have a bad dream, waking up and meowing sadly, knowing I’m still here she runs to me.
I can see it in her eyes when she looks at me, she loves me, I have to admit the feeling is mutual.
She is Pathetically Adorable… aka Paddy the Kat.
I wouldn’t know what I would do if she hadn’t found her way to my window AC some many summers ago.
She is my best friend. And I am hers.
